The Set Actions feature released with Tableau version 2018.3 unleashes a new world of possibilities in visual analytics. The key connection that Set Actions bring to life is a dramatically increased ability for authors to tightly couple the computation that happens in Tableau to the users’ activity. Now we as publishers can open up entirely new worlds of possibility through a dramatically amplified range of possibilities for the visual computation that can occur when our users make a selection of marks on the screen.

Action Analytics is a data consultancy. We are experts in visualizing complex relationships, revealing connections and harvesting business insight.
