In January 2023, Stellenbosch University, in partnership with Harvard Law School, hosted the annual Global Scholars Academy – a congregation of international legal scholars and academics which aims to tackle some of the most urgent and significant challenges facing the world today: from inequality and land usage to social justice and human rights. The GSA is the flagship initiative of Harvard Law’s Institute for Global Law and Policy, and is a huge honour for Stellenbosch University.
