Recently my Facebook Profile was restricted from advertising. This isn’t like having your business manager or ad account restricted, because in that case you could simply go ahead and create a new ad account. In this case, my entire Facebook Profile was restricted. Meaning that all ad accounts I personally owned instantly had their advertising access taken away.
Thankfully, at Stage Digital we have what we call the “Seamless Onboarding Process”. This process ensures that the client is onboarded the correct way, which amongst other things means, that they have their own business manager, and own their ad account themselves. We simply create, manage & run the ads on their behalf.
This meant that my clients’ ads did not stop running, even though my advertising access was temporarily taken away.
To see how I went about having the access restored, simply watch the video.

Thank you for taking the time to read this today.
I hope I am correct in stating, that the core values at Facebook are: integrity, accountability, diligence, perseverance, and discipline, because I will do my best to apply these aspects in my message today.
My name is Sander, and on a daily basis I manage the advertising efforts of my few clients on Facebook. It’s a job I take much pride in, and ever since I submitted my first Campaign for review, I’ve done my absolute best to abide by each and every one of Facebook’s policies. I’ve read them through carefully several times to ensure compliance.
Today, I woke up to the message “Your Advertising Access is Restricted: You’re no longer allowed to use Facebook Products to advertise. You can’t run ads, manage advertising assets or create new ad or business accounts.”
To be honest, it caught be by surprise, because as stated I’ve always given my everything to be in absolute compliance with your policies. Of course I will have to explain to my clients why I will have to stop their campaigns from running at this given time.
Now, if I’m not mistaken, these decisions are processed by some very advanced ai technology at Facebook, and so for this reason, I thought it might be valuable to have a human being’s perspective on this.
Truth be told, I am not sure what caught the algorithms attention, because so far I’ve simply been running some very simple campaigns for one of my clients’ music. And no further information as to what policy had been violated was given to me.
But I was hoping, that perhaps you could tell me what triggered the decision. At this point I don’t know if I should have any hope left, but you should know that I will do my best to comply with all policies every single day, if you were to recover my access.
Looking forward to hearing back.
All the best and love,
Final note: If you know for a fact that you’ve continuously broken Facebook’s rules, and you’ve had 10-100+ ads disapproved, then I wouldn’t set your hopes of recovering your access very high.
Hope your issues gets resolved:
