To learn how to create a video from your images, follow these instructions. You can use your video in ads across Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and Audience Network.

Facebook offers templates to help you create videos for your ads. These templates use your images to create videos in different styles and formats. You can then customize your video with items like logos, backgrounds or text overlays.

There are 3 types of templates, depending on your preferred aspect ratio and placement options:

Flexible Templates: for square or vertical placements, like Stories, Feed and In-Stream Video
Square Templates: for square placements (1:1), like Feed and In-Stream Video
Vertical Templates: for vertical placements (9:16), like Stories

Each type contains various templates that you can choose from:

In Ads Manager, you can create mobile-first videos from your existing images. You can choose among several video templates to get started, and then customize your video with text overlays, backgrounds, logos and more.

To create a video ad with your images in Ads Manager:
Begin the steps to create a video ad in Ads Manager.
At the Ad level, scroll to the Media section and click Create Video. The video creation window opens.
Select the images to use in your video. You can use images in any of our supported formats.
To upload a new image, click + Upload.
To find an existing image, scroll through your images or use the search.
To select an image, click it.
To select the type of video template you want, click one of the buttons at the top of the page. There are 3 types:
Flexible Templates: for square or vertical placements, like Stories, Feed and In-stream videos
Square Templates: for square placements (1:1), like Feed and In-stream videos
Vertical Templates: for vertical placements (9:16), like Stories
After you select a type, the available templates display below.
To choose a specific template, hover over it and click the Edit button.
To customize a video scene, click the thumbnail for the scene. You can then make adjustments in the Media and Creative Tools sections. Keep in mind that some of these options may not be available for every template.
Change: Switch the media used in your scene.
Crop: Change the part of the media you want to show.
Background: Choose an image or a color that serves as the background for the scene. You can crop your image to appear exactly as you want in the video.
Logo: Add a logo or similar small image that represents your business. You can adjust its size to Small, Medium or Large, and change its positioning.
Text: Add up to 30 characters of text to the scene. You can select a font, text color and background color. In some templates, you change the position of the text overlay.
You can also make the following adjustments to your scenes:
To change the order of your scenes, click the scene you want to move and drag it into a new position.
To delete a scene, click it, then click the Delete Scene button.
To add a new scene, click .
(Optional) To adjust the settings for your template, click the Template button in the top-left corner, then click Settings. Note that Settings is only available for some templates.
(Optional) To add a sticker graphic to all the scenes in your video, click the Template button in the top-left corner, then click Stickers. Note that Stickers is only available for some templates.
After you complete your template and review each scene, click Create Video. Your video is now included in your ad.
Add your text, links and tracking. When you’re done, click Publish to run your video ad.
