Doshisha Business School: Global MBA Learn more about Kyoto – experience Toji Temple

Toji Temple, or the ‘East Temple’ is located only 15 minutes walk away from Kyoto Station. This temple was founded at the beginning of the Heian Period along with Saiji (West Temple) which has since been non-functioning.

On the 21st of each month, this UNESCO Heritage Site holds a flea market which opens until 16:30 in the afternoon. Here you can find a wide variety of new and used goods such as kimonos, tools, toys, pottery, etc! Also, on the first Sunday of each month, you can also enjoy an antiques market at the temple grounds.

Doshisha Global MBA students start by building a foundation in the standard MBA core subjects before designing their own programs of study by selecting from electives in advanced management and our three focus areas of Sustainability and Green Business, Culture and Creativity, and Business in Asia. All Global MBA courses are taught in English.
